El Patio Restaurant maintains a long tradition started by Paul C. Joseph in 1954 who was one of Austin’s early pioneers in the Mexican food business. His policy “merely to serve the best” is still carried on today by family and their loyal staff who have worked at El Patio for over 30 years. El Patio Foods is branching outside of the restaurant with products now available in retail.
